At the start of the 20th century, there was an old square farm here. For over 50 years, shepherd Albert let his herd of sheep graze in the middle of the current Hoge Kempen National Park every day. The Vrancken family fell in love with this piece of pristine nature, and built a country home here in the 80s. Now, 30 years later, their daughter Inge has opened a beautiful holiday home with her husband David and their daughters Anne and Marie. Be welcome. In De Sjieper. In unique Limburg. In beautiful landscapes. In a peaceful place.
Simply beautiful! With a very tasteful interior and a warm welcome in Limburg style.

A wonderful weekend in a luxurious and comfortable home. We loved seeing so many cute deer every morning.
An address to remember! Warm hospitality, lots of peace and quiet, and Maastricht nearby.

You will feel at home here right away, and we even saw a deer in the garden!
We enjoyed a weekend away with the family in this beautiful area. There is plenty to do for people of all ages.

We had a wonderful weekend. There is so much to do here: go for a walk, explore the area on your bicycle, visit the nearby towns. Thank you for everything, Inge.
Your stay starts with a warm welcome, with delicious apple cake and an enthusiastic hostess. And the holiday home is so cosy! It lacks nothing.
Our batteries are fully recharged after a nice weekend away with our family. We enjoyed the sunshine on the terrace and we played Kubb in the large garden.
A fantastic experience!
What a garden! So much peace and quiet! A wonderful view!
