Jump on one of our e-bikes and ride along the Albertkanaal to the interactive experience centre the Brug van Vroenhoven in Riemst. Here you can learn more about the destruction of WOII and the regenerating force of the channels and inland vessels. You can enjoy a beverage on the sunny terrace, with a great view of the Albertkanaal.
If you love learning about the past, we can also recommend the Gallo-Romeins Museum in Tongeren. This museum will tell you the story about the people in our region, from prehistoric times to the end of the Roman era.
Discover the ancient stories of Alden Biesen. This 13th-century Landcommanderij is one of the biggest and most beautiful castle complexes in the Euregio. You can take a lovely walk around the castle grounds with a moat, among ancient fruit trees, in the atmospheric English Park and the French garden.
Make sure to visit Kanne. Admire an impressive maze of hallways in the marl caves, fascinating images, Middle Dutch texts and a mushroom farm.
